Misson: It is the mission of Johnsburg Boys Baseball League to provide organized baseball for the boys and girls in our community, and to impress upon the players the importance of fair play, teamwork, and the development of their skills. The league also strives to provide a progressive level of competition commensurate with their skills and maturity and foster an enduring love of baseball.

Our Opening & Picture Day is this Sunday, April 28th. There will be games throughout the day and team pictures being taken in between 9:15AM and 4:20PM. In addition to our normal opening day festivities, we have a tremendous opportunity to raise money for the league. Gary Lang Auto Group will be on site at Johnsburg Junior High doing test drives. For every person that takes a test drive or signs up to take one later at the dealership, JBBL will receive a $20 donation. This represents a great way for us to raise money for our ongoing field and equipment improvements. Please consider taking a few minutes to take a test drive while your player waits for their pictures or while they are warming up for their game. There are so many great things we could do with these funds and all it takes is a few minutes of your time. Thank you very much to the Gary Lang Auto Group and Chevrolet for making this happen.

The Johnsburg Lions Meat Raffle on May 2nd will benefit JBBL. This is a great opportunity to win some meat and have a great meal at Chef Davito's. The event starts at 7:30PM and ends at 8:30PM. If you can't make it that night, we will be doing raffle ticket pre-sales at opening day. Find Maria Groves and she'll be able to help you.
We are very excited to be chosen by the Gary Lang Auto Group to participate in the Chevy Youth Baseball program for the 2013 season. The program has numerous benefits including a cash donation and a chance to make much more in raffle for a new car or other prizes. Please be on the lookout for anyone selling raffle tickets. They are only $2 each or six for $10.
